A global vision of Brazilian music marks the work of Bahians Cady and Processman who join forces in the surrounding “Do It Alright”. Bringing together a groove groove inspired by the 80s, Brazilianness, electronic music and sounds from Bahia, this is a release of the label Liboo (Universal Music) and comes with a party-inspired clip and an EP with the original, electronic, and acoustic version . Cady had been looking for some time to create songs with disco references and found this in the work of producer Processman that he met at a meeting promoted by a mutual friend in Salvador. It took just a few hours together to identify a whole musical affinity and the track was born gathering its references as a synthesis of the work of the two artists.
Singer and songwriter, Cady is an artist in constant movement and transformation. Inspired by the drumming of the streets of her hometown, Salvador, she unites sounds from all over the world in her performances that have passed through India, Japan, Qatar, Turkey, United States, Spain, Russia, Colombia, France, Portugal, Italy and many others Brazil states. Last year, she commanded for the first time an electric trio within the official schedule of the Bahian carnival.
Processeman is the stage name of producer and composer Alexandre Process. Graduated in Popular Music by the Federal University of Bahia, he makes music that unites disco, funk, house and Brazilian music. His authorial productions and remixes attract the attention of specialized labels around the world.
The clip of the partnership was anticipated on the social networks of the singer and countrywoman Ivete Sangalo. “Do It Alright” is a release by Liboo, an electronic music label from Universal Music Brasil.
