Lady Gaga e Ariana Grande lideram a lista de indicações ao MTV Video Music Awards 2020

Falta pouco menos de 1 mês para o MTV Video Music Awards 2020 e os indicados para a lendária premiação foram anunciados nesta quinta-feira (30). Mais de 20 artistas que fazem parte do cast da Universal Music foram indicados, nas mais variadas categorias. Lady Gaga e Ariana Grande, que recentemente se juntaram no single “Rain On Me”, lideram a lista com nove indicações cada, seguidas do fenômeno Billie Eilish, de apenas 18 anos, e The Weeknd, ambos com seis indicações cada.

Por conta da pandemia causada pelo novo coronavírus, que fez com que boa parte do mundo desse início a um longo período de isolamento social, o VMA 2020 adicionou mais duas categorias à sua lista. São elas: “Melhor Performance da Quarentena” e “Melhor Clipe Feito em Casa”, que conta com Lady Gaga, Post Malone, 5 Seconds of Summer, Drake, Ariana Grande e Justin Bieber entre os indicados.

Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Eminem, Post Malone, DaBaby, Justin Bieber, Lewis Capaldi, YUNGBLUD, Karol G, Halsey, Jonas Brothers, (G)I-DLE, Tomorrow X Together, J Balvin, The Killers, Fall Out Boy, The 1975, Machine Gun Kelly, Lana Del Rey, 5 Seconds of Summer, Drake, Demi Lovato e Lil Baby são os destaques da Universal Music na premiação deste ano.

A cerimônia do MTV VMA 2020 acontece no dia 30 de agosto, diretamente do Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, em Nova York, respeitando todas as medidas de segurança referentes à COVID-19.
