Justin Bieber refutou as alegações de que ele agrediu sexualmente uma mulher chamada “Danielle” em 2014.
A mulher, que twittou de uma conta anônima no sábado à noite (20 de junho) que foi removida do Twitter logo após Bieber comentar publicamente sobre a situação, alegou que o incidente ocorreu em um hotel em Austin, Texas, em 9 de março de 2014.
“Normalmente não falo sobre coisas, pois lidei com acusações aleatórias durante toda a minha carreira, mas depois de conversar com minha esposa e equipe, decidi falar sobre um assunto hoje à noite”, escreveu Bieber em sua própria conta no Twitter na noite de domingo (21 de junho).
“Rumores são rumores, mas abuso sexual é algo que não tomo de ânimo leve”, continuou ele. “Eu queria falar imediatamente, mas por respeito a tantas vítimas que lidam com essas questões diariamente, eu queria ter certeza de reunir os fatos antes de fazer qualquer declaração”.
“Nas últimas 24 horas, apareceu um novo Twitter que contava uma história minha envolvida com abuso sexual em 9 de março de 2014 em Austin, Texas, no hotel Four Seasons. Quero ser claro. Não há verdade nessa história. De fato, como mostrarei em breve que nunca estive presente naquele local “, disse Bieber.
“Como a história dela contou, surpreendi uma multidão em Austin no Sxsw, onde apareci no palco com meu então assistente do palco e cantei algumas músicas. O que essa pessoa não sabia era que eu participei daquele show com minha então namorada Selena Gomez. “
Bieber postou links para artigos de notícias, bem como fotos de redes sociais e capturas de tela de e-mails e recibos de hospedagem, a partir do período em questão.
Ele disse que não ficou no Four Seasons, local do suposto incidente, mas passou a noite de 9 de março de 2014, no Airbnb, e 10 de março de 2014, no Westin.
“Todas as alegações de abuso sexual devem ser levadas muito a sério e é por isso que minha resposta foi necessária. No entanto, essa história é fatuamente impossível e é por isso que vou trabalhar com o twitter e as autoridades para tomar medidas legais“, escreveu Bieber.

In the past 24 hours a new Twitter appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel. I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location.
